Is Yarrow Valley wheelchair friendly?
Plenty of walks, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife and children’s activities. Suitable for wheelchairs too.
Is Wycoller pram friendly?
It is not suitable for prams. The walk starts at the Wycoller Country Park’s Trawden Road Car Park (postcode BB8 8SY).

Is Beacon fell pram friendly?
Pushchairs & wheel chairs can be used on some paths. There is a small fee to park near the visitor centre but it is a great point to start exploring the Fell. There are other parking spots.
Are there toilets at Wycoller?
Wycoller Country Park is one of the prettiest Country Parks in Lancashire. Disabled toilet facilities are provided within the Country Park as well as an information centre at the Aisled Barn. Trampers can be hired from Wycoller Country Park.
Are there toilets at Beacon Fell?
The toilets are open, parking is free until further notice and the cafe is open Thursday- Sunday 10am-2pm serving drinks and snacks.
How long does it take to walk around Beacon Fell?
The woodland trail takes about 40 minutes to complete, taking you past Larch Avenue, Shield Wood, Tarn Wood, Middle Wood and the summit. As you go round the trail you will see the different species of trees that have been planted in the wood and the different habitats that they have created.
Is Beacon Fell dog friendly?
Dogs are welcome at Beacon Fell provided they are kept under close control and out of the wildlife ponds. Sheep can be grazing at certain times of the year and dog waste should be bagged and disposed of responsibly.
