Pushchairs & wheel chairs can be used on some paths. There is a small fee to park near the visitor centre but it is a great point to start exploring the Fell. There are other parking spots.

Wycoller Country Park is one of the prettiest Country Parks in Lancashire. Disabled toilet facilities are provided within the Country Park as well as an information centre at the Aisled Barn. Trampers can be hired from Wycoller Country Park.

How long does it take to walk around Beacon Fell?

The woodland trail takes about 40 minutes to complete, taking you past Larch Avenue, Shield Wood, Tarn Wood, Middle Wood and the summit. As you go round the trail you will see the different species of trees that have been planted in the wood and the different habitats that they have created.

Is Beacon Fell dog friendly?

Dogs are welcome at Beacon Fell provided they are kept under close control and out of the wildlife ponds. Sheep can be grazing at certain times of the year and dog waste should be bagged and disposed of responsibly.
